Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between DuGodPlan (the “Service”) and its users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “Service” means the travel-planning service and related features provided by DuGodPlan.
  • “User” means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes)

  • These Terms apply to every user of the Service.
  • The Service may change these Terms when necessary. Updated Terms take effect after notice within the Service.
  • A user who does not agree to an update may stop using the Service.

Article 4 (Service Features)

  • The Service provides itinerary creation and timelines, place search, travel-time and route guidance, transport selection per leg, and map routes.
  • Every trip-planning feature is free. Google sign-in may be required for identity-based features such as Drive storage, cross-device access, and share links.
  • Features may be changed or discontinued for technical or operational reasons.

Article 5 (User Responsibilities)

Users must not do any of the following:

  • Interfere with normal operation or another user’s access
  • Use the Service for unlawful activity
  • Collect, store, or disclose Service information without authorization
  • Overload the Service through automated means

Article 6 (Data Storage)

  • Unsigned trip data is stored in browser localStorage and remains after the browser window closes.
  • When a signed-in user saves, trip data is stored in that user’s Google Drive and can be loaded on other devices.
  • The Service is not required to back up or recover data stored in a user’s browser.
  • The Service is not responsible for loss caused by clearing browser data, changing devices, or similar actions.

Article 6-1 (Fees)

  • Trip creation, storage, share links, expense splitting, and checklists are free.
  • Charges from third-party services such as maps or lodging bookings follow those providers’ policies.
  • Features, scope, and operating policies may change for operational or technical reasons.

Article 6-2 (Advertising)

  • The Service currently operates without on-screen advertising.
  • Any future advertising-policy change will be announced in the Service or through updated Terms.

Article 6-3 (External Services)

  • External map APIs may be used for place search, maps, and travel-time calculations.
  • Failures, delays, or errors in external APIs may limit some features.
  • The accuracy of places, routes, and travel times from external APIs is not guaranteed.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  • Travel times, distances, routes, and timelines are guidance and may differ from traffic, opening hours, and on-site conditions.
  • The Service does not guarantee third-party map or route data.
  • The Service does not declare an itinerary possible or impossible. Final decisions and travel are the user’s responsibility.
  • The Service is not liable for travel accidents, delays, costs, or interruptions caused by force majeure.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property)

  • Intellectual property in the Service design, logo, and code belongs to the provider.
  • Copyright in trip content created by a user belongs to that user.

Article 9 (Disputes)

  • The parties will first work in good faith toward an amicable resolution.
  • Unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and handled by a court with jurisdiction.
