Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Overview
DuGodPlan (the “Service”) values user privacy and follows applicable privacy laws. This Policy explains what information is processed and how it is used.
2. Information We Process
DuGodPlan can be used without signing in and processes only the minimum information needed.
- Unsigned users: trip data is stored in browser localStorage, remains after the window closes, and does not require separate personal information.
- Optional signed-in users: Google account email, name, profile-photo URL, and trip data needed for Google Drive storage and retrieval are processed.
3. Purpose of Processing
Unsigned data is used only to manage that user’s trips. It is not sent to external cloud storage unless the user signs in and uses a storage feature.
4. External Services and Third Parties
The Service uses the following external providers:
- Google Firebase: used for sign-in, authentication state, and shared-trip storage. Shared data may be stored in Firebase Firestore.
- Advertising: no on-screen ads are currently shown. If ads are introduced, this Policy will describe data and cookie use.
- Map APIs: search terms and origin/destination coordinates may be sent to providers for place search, maps, and travel-time calculations.
5. Retention
Unsigned trip data remains in localStorage until the user clears browser data. Signed-in trip data is stored in the user’s Google Drive and can be deleted by that user.
6. User Rights
- Users can delete browser-stored trip data through browser settings.
- Privacy questions can be sent to the contact below.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential cookies are used for authentication state and user settings such as language.
Users may reject cookies in browser settings, but some features may become unavailable.
8. Contact

9. Changes
This Policy may change with laws, policies, or Service updates. Changes will be posted here and, when important, announced within the Service.
